Documentary on AIDS . . .
The picture on the right shows me with coartist, Ms Rosy, who acted as the wife of the AIDS patient . . .
Recently, I worked for a documentary on AIDS, directed by Mr Debanand Nayak (aka Sony). I was acting as an AIDS patient (it was the lead role). The role involved deep anxiety, frustration, and sorrow. It was quite challenging to reach the depths of these emotions to the extent required by the role. I had to try my best. I am really happy having the opportunity to act in this documentary aimed at creating social awareness about such an important issue.
This brought me an intense experience of what an AIDS patient in our society may go through. I would ask everyone not to despise AIDS patients; they deserve our care and attention.
